James Gillespie's group (Natural Home Remedies - Spring) will have 2 field trips within Edinburgh in Spring 2012: these will take place Saturday 25 Feb and Saturday 10 March, 10 am - 1 pm. Locations will be discussed in class and full details will be posted here the week before each trip. Watch this space!

Field trip 1: Hermitage of Braid/Blackford Hill
Meet 9.50-10.00 at Blackford Pond gate, on Cluny Gardens (at junction with Charterhall Road). Lothian buses 38 and 41 stop nearby (for more public transport info see Lothian Buses website). On the google map below, our meeting point at Blackford Pond gate is marked "C".
General instructions for all Floramedica Living Medicine field trips:
Try to be on time - we will set out promptly! If you are unable to arrive on time, phone me on 07790 885969 as soon as you can for directions to catch up with the group.
Dress warmly! Wear shoes or boots with a good grip - paths can be muddy and rough. Field trips will go ahead unless it's really foul weather or hard frost/snow (if in doubt phone me - number below).
Bring a drink and snack, and containers for collecting plant material. A book for identifying plants is also useful.
